An Oceanographic Winch is used to pull equipment and people from the seabed. It is commonly used by scuba divers, underwater archaeologists, and marine biologists to access areas that are inaccessible by other means. An Oceanographic Winch is a winch with a cable or rope that can pull the diver or other personnel down to the bottom of the ocean.
